A stunning, authentic, all hand made, Navajo Native American Indian Belt. It is made from, leather, sterling silver and all natural turquoise.````Kirk Smith is a famous Navajo artist whose work is featured in the famous Heard Museum. His work is of the Traditional Revival style. He originally used a formula to give his art a matte finish similar to Old Pawn style, but his newer pieces feature a shinier finish. All the work is done completely by hand including carving his one mold for the silver. He has received much recognition and awards in various publications. The retail on this belt is about $3040.````The whole belt measures 58" in length. The 5 conchos measure 3 1/4" by 3" each, and 6 bows measure 2 1/4" by 2" each. The buckle is 3 5/8" by 2 7/8". The conchos are held on by a piece of copper on the back so that the conchos and bows can be adjusted as needed.````It is stamped Sterling and Kirk Smith.
