Navajo Bird's Eye Turquoise Earrings by Nakai
Navajo Native American earrings by Nakai. They are made from sterling silver and bird's eye (turquoise mountain) turquoise. Bird's Eye turquoise is also known as Turquoise Mountain and it is hard to find and collectible since the mine closed in the 1980's. The earrings are about 1 3/4" in length, and 3/8" in width. They are stamped sterling and Nakai. This is one of the highest quality items that you can find. Everything by Grace and Gilo Nakai is cleaned and the copper is removed from the silver to protect it and keep it lasting longer.
